I've been working on making a restore disk for my buddy's acer aspire 3680 but i've been puzzled with how to integrate the following programs

Gridvista
VCM
Launch Manager

Is there a way to make these into cabinet files?

Maybe this guide might give you some ideas on launching such applications without mucking around with cab files.

Not sure about what the switches are for GridVista or VCM, but for the Launch Manager on my Aspire 5024WLMi I add the command:

%Source%AddOns\Launch_Manager\Setup.exe /S  /F2%Temp%\LaunchManagerSetup.log

Note that if you do use the call a batch file method, the TimeOut command doesn't exist in 32-bit XP, so instead of

TimeOut /T 120

for a 2 minute delay you need

Ping -n 121 127.0.0.1 > nul

Download the Virtualtek addon integrator of nLite

Make a cab of your app

Choose the Silent mode as based for u'r installation

integate through nLite

start the process
