Hi to all. I have the setup file of Adobe Reader v8.1.3 and i downloaded updates for Adobe Reader v8.1.3 from adobe website. The updates i downloaded are

dbeRdrUpd814_all_ce_incr.msp
AdbeRdrUpd815_all_incr.msp
AdbeRdrUpd816_all_incr.msp

I installed the updates in above order from dbeRdrUpd814_all_ce_incr.msp to AdbeRdrUpd816_all_incr.msp. After installing the last update the Adobe Reader showing its version is 8.1.6. Now my question is can i integrate all these updates in main installation file? So that at later time if i install Adobe Reader it directly installs to v8.1.6. What is the procedure to do this?

Thanks.

You can try making an administrative install and then applying the patch files. Something similar to this:
msiexec /a adobereader.msi TARGETDIR=..\destinationpath
msiexec /p dbeRdrUpd814_all_ce_incr.msp /a ..\destinationpath\adobereaderadmininstalled.msi
msiexec /p AdbeRdrUpd815_all_incr.msp /a ..\destinationpath\adobereaderadmininstalled.msi
msiexec /p AdbeRdrUpd816_all_incr.msp /a ..\destinationpath\adobereaderadmininstalled.msi

if u have Adobe Reader v8.1.3 (Full), then u can use it as a base by following Strel's method.

you can ignore 8.1.4/8.1.5 updates because 8.1.6 covers the previous updates.

as mentioned here (http://kb2.adobe.com...psid_49880.html) it's recommended to do so due to the update category.

That's what I would say. ;)

These are all incremental patches and they implement the earlier released updates.
