Start menu: go direclty in "Program"

Hi everyone,

First, i'm sorry for two things: 1st, my english is not very good. 2nd, i'm sorry if this question was already ask.

I'm a 2 weeks new Windows 7 user and I like this new one. But the only thing I don't like, is not the start menu itself, but the "program". I will try (very difficult for me) to explain.

When I click the "windows logo" to bring the menu, I see this:

But I don't like to see the software or document i've use before (I set to 10 each). If I turn off the option, the big white retangle still there, showing only the "programs".

But what I want to do, is when I click the start logo, I want to see directly my program menu (instead of clicking or let my mouse for 1 or 2 seconds over the "programs")

I hope i'm clear, because is very hard to explain in english.

You can only do something similar with the classic start menu. Unfortunately that option has been removed from Windows 7.
