1 SATA:WESTERN DIGITAL
1 IDE Maxtor

There are two hard disks.
Does the BIOS change load order and try to boot from IDE hard disk?

As for testing purposes disconnect the IDE hard disk.

Solved!
It seems like after reboot in bios changed the order of HDD.
Now working fine but it seems like that its need more time to boot.

It seems like after reboot in bios changed the order of HDD.

Boot order was IDE first.
At IDE emualtion the first hd was the WD SATA hard disk.
At AHCI mode, the first IDE hard disk is the Maxtor. Hence the ntldr not found.
I guess you reconnected the maxtor and changed boot order in the meantime.

Now working fine but it seems like that its need more time to boot.

Yes, there is a time out at ahcix86.sys. The driver wait for late drives.

specs:
amd p2 x2 555BE
asus m4a78LT-M LE
seagate 4x500gb sata hdd

i needed 2 make a raid 10 setup from the following specs.

i integrated teh raid drivers from the supplied dvd into the xp sp3 setup file using nlite

in the bios, selected raid for the 1st 4 sata ports, adn ide for the remaining 2 sata ports.

in raid options, selected raid 10, selected the 4 hdds, and copleted the raid setup.

then started the installation, the disk got detected,, loaded the raid drivers, formated the hdd.

and the setup started, after loading the files, the system restarted, and the windows starting screen with bar running showed up., ad then BSOD.

wots wrong... tried 2 install 5 times,,,same problem....

help needed urgent..

Can you find a way to post the exact BSOD for closer reference?

Edit: Which also got me thinking: this topic is no different that the other two Fernando 1 works on. Is there any special reason why it shouldn't be sticky? Just a thought

The Day Walker!, the 7B Stop Code says that Setup cannot find the install drive. It is usually a text mode driver problem. Since you did not attach your Last Session, as requested in bold red above, there is not much more I can say. Please attach it and we will take a look. Enjoy, John.

The Day Walker!, I think you have the wrong drivers. What model MB do you have? Your first post says ASUS m4a78LT-M LE which is an ATI chip based board. Your RAID driver in your Last Session is labeled M3N78-EM\NVIDIA_AHCI_SATARAID. So which is it, ATI or nVidia? The ATI drivers are here. Enjoy, John.

The Day Walker!, if these various driver files have the same name (xxx.sys), then the last one to get there is the one that gets installed - the way it is with text mode drivers. It may not be the correct one - install only the correct driver for the MB. The question remains, which MB do you have on THIS computer? Enjoy, John.

What johnhc is saying is "do NOT integrate several SATA drivers for several motherboards using this method, or it will do exactly what it's doing now: fail". One driver will just overwrite the previous. If you want more than one SATA driver in your XP CD, you should use Driver Packs.

Cheers

pals...as i also said that ....i have also tried just integrating the mobo drivers..not multiple but the pc crashes at the same place...where it used to when i used the multiple drivers inst disk.

so multiple drivers is not the problem...as the inst isnt working with single drivers disk...also.

The Day Walker!, one more time. Tell us what is the make/model of your MB and we will see if we can recommend drivers. Later, John.

The Day Walker!, DL and extract the attached file. Include this driver and nothing else in your Driver section of nLite and see if your install goes OK. I got it from the link I provided above. Let us know. Enjoy, John.

Just to make sure, you are integrating it in text mode (not PnP), right? I went through the posts related to your problem and didn't find this information anywhere. For reference, see pic #11 in this guide http://win-x.co.cc/nliteimages.html

The Day Walker!, I think you have the correct driver now, so there is something else going on. Make sure your BIOS is setup properly for your RAID and it is set to AHCI mode. Are you doing a full format? If not, please do. You may need to run Recovery Console and do a chkdsk.exe. When you burned the ISO to CD, did you do a verify? If not, please do. You could try any of several HDD configurations, including the individual drives to see if you can get past this error. Please let us know. Good luck, John.
