I want to set up a number of settings automatically after logging on for the first time, I'm assuming a registry punch would be the easiest way to go but setting everything up seems like it would take forever.
Is there something that I can use to do it automatically?
Some of the things I want to set are :
default explorer view - details
system properties - advanced - visual effects - all off
taskbar - show hidden icons, show quick launch
use classic start menu
I'm always having to log on to a variety of machines and can't use a roaming profile and would like to just set all this up with a one click solution.
Any ideas?

I checked the database (thanks for the link) but I was looking for something that could automate creating the registry punch.
Also, none of the tweaks I'm looking for were listed.
Software similar to creating packages, something that would track changes as I make them and then output a registry file.
Is there such a thing?

I believe the answer was software called RegShot.
