vlite - possible with malware on my PC? I have malware on my Pc and want to create an installation disc Rate Topic: -----

Hi,
just a short question:
I've got some malware on my pc and want to reset my Vista by creating an installation CD with vlite and re-installing Vista afterwards.

Is there any danger, that the malware also gets saved on the Installation Disc?
I want to get rid of that crap!

Yes, your installation disc might get some infected files on it. But why not try to clean your system first?

I'm actually trying to get rid of this stuff without reinstalling the whole system.
But you can't be sure that everything is clean afterwards, can you?

Well, let's see. Maybe I succeed. May the force be with my antivir-progs. :sneaky:
