shademe
Can the pie chart (that depicts disk space usage) found in the Disk Properties dialog be swapped with one that's not so aliased ? I tried looking into explorer.exe ( the parent ) and it seems that the chart is generated without image resource usage. Any insight on this would be appreciated !Thanks ! W3bbo
I'm afraid the disk space piechart would be very hard to modify, it paints itself directly (probably with GDI). It is technically possible (by disassembling the program and changing its GDI calls so it calls the drawing functrions with antialiasing enabled, and maybe with a different choice of colours), but it would be a lot of work.I'll speak to a friend of mine who does a lot of disassembly. Dubby
Hello,, Firstly sorry for such a bump..Actually the color of the pie chart can be altered.. But I don't know about how to change the antialiazing think..And yes it paints itself using gdi..The color code is not located in explorer.exe but in shell32,,I have change the color of my own pie chart..Maybe tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, when I got my computer, I will show you how it can be done..,PS: Sorry for my bad English.. banankrem
What's up with the graphical bugs in the pie chart, you can see a lot of white dots on the bottom edges, is there any way to fix it?It is not caused because of the lack of anti-aliasing, as this bug was not presented in Win9x, it came in NT4 and so forth.Comparison screenshot below:http://img188.imageshack.us/i/chkspace.jpg/
