Ah cheers, going to create a new image then just to be sure.

About the vLite stuff, should I ignore those questions about QoS, IPsec, etc and remove them, or keep them in the installation?

Yes you can remove them all in Vlite

Succesfully installed Windows 7 on VMware now :) The changes in removex64.bat did the trick..

There's just a few things that I can't do right now.. I can't seem to change the resolution? Right click desktop -> Screen Resolution come's with the error: "explorer.exe" Server execution failed. Can't change it through Control Panel either, button doesn't do anything. Can't change to Aero either because of the same bug as with screen resolution. Can't run services.msc because MMC was unable to start correctly. Can't use the button Properties either when I right click on Computer (not a big deal but I was so used to do that :blushing: ).

Have you installed a (Dutch) language pack after install?

Whats your install.wim size?
If you did it correctly, it must have a size of 666mb.

678mb, I installed remote desktop connection with it  That one is working perfectly and it's the only thing i changed in the vLite config.

Funny enough I was the one messing with the batch files, they actually works really well without editting. Absolutely no errors even in Eventviewer! Took me a whole day to realize this testing various settings

Oh! its Christmas eve! Merry Christmass everybody!!!

Does anybody know how to add languagepacks?

I tried this in a .bat file after step 8:

set langloc=c:\
dism.exe /image:c:\s2 /add-package /packagepath:"%langloc%\lp.nlx86.cab"

It went succesfull, but I cannot see the added languagepack in Vlite "Integration".

It works now.
Set these two lines into the ultimatex86.bat file at STEP 8.

set langloc=c:\
dism.exe /image:c:\s2 /add-package /packagepath:"%langloc%\lp.nlx86.cab"

c:\ = location of the cab. file
lp.nlx86.cab = name of the cab. file

After this, you will not be able to see the added language in Vlite.
But the new language will be available in Control panel > Region Lang. > Keyboards Lang.

Thanks for the files, I got most of the problems fixed now :thumbup. The only problem still remaining is that MMC.exe is "unable to start correctly".
How do you manually turn on Aero btw?

EDIT:
nvm about the Aero, found a site for the registry edits. And it probably won't work under VMware anyway :blushing:.

Noes, I've kept that one. Paint and device manager are giving me the same error as well, haven't found any other error yet.

make sure you're using the updated batch file in the 1st post, not the one hosted on 4shared...?

Thanks for the input, I've started over at the vLite part and it's working like a charm now :) All basic windows functions are working, up to the my other software before I will reinstall my computer with this image.

You need to use the batches hosted locally, and not the ones from 4shared.com
If already done that then you need to search through your removex64 and delete any entries with the statement "imageres.dll" and "imageres.dll.mui"

Can anyone alow programs and changes to their firewall? mine seems to be broken
My antivirus also gives this error:-

Dead0,
Maybe you can upload a testversion of your extreme batch and we can test it?
