after hours of tweaking and fiddling I finally got a working package that had my wlan and wwan working perfectly (after installing drivers) and still maintain a low install size.
feel free to take a look

install size without page/hib=1.68

would you mind posting [if you have one] a refreshed version of your server 2008 slimming guide too [NOT R2]? Link it to this thread's 1st post ;)

Or is the link in avivo's old thread as good as it gets?

that would be as good as it gets! :P

...but i am working on a r2 guide, just stuck on whether i should keep netfx3 or not! netfx4 wont install without netfx3 & you cant do a manual install of netfx3 if the files/package is removed?!

workin on r2 enterprise at the moment...got the install size down to 2.69gb 2.35gb but still ongoing...after compression 2.16gb :D

I got an error when I run ultimate.bat in CMD
"The specified package is not valid Windows package."
I have done anything you showed me in this topic
I have used drive D:/ like you
I use WAIK for W7
Can you help me

try using waik for vista sp1/2008

it showed that when I run you .bat file in cmd help me to fix it

are you trying to to run dism for x64 in a x86 environment?
