[Fdisk]

i know this probly isnt the correct place to ask this but i cant find anything on it
ive made a multy boot dvd with all 3 install options so i decided to make 1 with sp1 in it
now i get this when i start the install The file usbehci.sys could not be found.

if i remember...it s a sensitive case problem
search USBEHCI.SYS iin you boot folder and rename it usbehci.sis

Maybe you will have to do that with another file...;

For what it's worth.... I just had this exact same problem with an ISO created with a slipstreamed XPSP2RC1 which halted on usbehci.sys not being found. The SP2RC1 slipstream created all (of what it put in) lower case files. I converted all files and directory names from lower case to UPPER CASE case and the problem went away.

Thanx for the clue that it was an alphabetical case problem.

im having a similar problem....... except it doesn't say its missing, it says its corrupted... changed the case to all uppercase and the problem persists.

Hey FDISK,

I had an issue with my USB 2 driver where I could not get it to work; My PC was looking for a file called usbehci.sys the internet did not help at all, so I manage to find it my self. I am using Windows XP pro without any services packs, to find it, just go to start, then search, and type usbehci.sys, your PC should locate it at

C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\6ca7b3a8efd5a9b6f87fff395a2eb989
