I would like to slim down a Win7 Ultimate x64 to be used as a DAW (Audio / Music workstation, using Cubase, VST instruments and such things) It is not connected to the net and I would like to remove all network functionality. I've been trying to vlite but have not been successful yet, always something necessary is missing at the end. I would basically want to remove EVERYTHING except the base core system, no network related things, no themes, to make it similar to say Windows 2000. No extra junk.

Has anyone made something like this yet?
