Hi there its been a week since I got my liteon dvd writer.
I've bought bunch of 1x princo dvd-r's
I've been writing my dvd's at 1x with pioneer a04.

after I bought this I was able to write on princo's with 2x. It was going good until yesterday I burned a movie dvd(6th movie dvd since liteon) at 2x and movie got corrupted at some point and dvd-rom went crazy (the ones before that are working fine)
so I want to write at 1x to my princo's but nero just has the 2x option for some reason
I've 6.3.0.2 version. with latest firmware from liteon.
I want to write at 1x :)(

help me pls !

That happened to me when I updated Nero once. I rolled back to the last version (cannot remember which one) and it solved the problem. After maybe two updates later from Nero I went ahead and updated. No problems since.

I'm not able to think of why that could happen. Try uninstalling and re-installing Nero. If that also doesn't work, use the standard windows problem-solving technique - a format-reinstall.

Try the more risky options (like updating firmware) only after that. Your drive's model number suggests its an 8x DVD-writer.
I do know Nero 6.0.0.23 was a stable version in every sense. But it isn't aware of dvd-writers faster than 4x, so your writer will only be recognised as 4x - maybe that doesn't matter right now, by the time 8x media is out, a newer version of Nero might have been released. Until then, 60023.

I use Nero 60015 with an 811S and burn at 8X all the time. Matter of fact I use 4X media and burn at 8X. Remember, you can only burn at 8X with plus R media.
