now, it would be great to have this tool updated, so that you can insert drivers and updates into all 4 images..... please? :whistle:

That can be done with a simple batch script. Here is the link.

Just perfect - Thank you so much :thumbup

@Mr Jinje

Just to post I use this tool almost exclusively to build my Windows 7 install-drivers, updates (cab files), features removed etc. A simply great app.

Thanks

@Mr Jinje
Thanks again for this great tool.
Using it atm to integrate approx 50 updates into W7 64 bit image no4. Approx how long may it take to commit the image following adding the packages?

Took around 12-13mins to commit the image. My box is an I7 860 @ 2.8Ghz, 1TB HD.
Was just curious & know Dism is slower than imagex was.

@Mr Jinje

was just wandering if you could include driver removal in your DISM tool; would be handy when you have drivers integrated that are updated....all nice and in the GUI.

Thanks,
Rick

I would try something like this first.

Dism /Image:D:\Mount /Add-Driver /Driver:D:\Drivers /Recurse /ForceUnsigned

report back if that allows you to force all 200 of your drivers in a single command.

I tried that command in cmd in order to integrate all the unsigned drivers, but it fails to do so. The following is from cmd:

Quote

C:\Windows\system32>DISM.exe /Image:C:\s2 /Add-Driver /Driver:C:\drivers /Recurs
e /ForceUnsigned

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 6.1.7600.16385

Error: 0xc150003a

An error occurred while loading DISM. The DISM tool may be corrupt.
Try reinstalling DISM.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

C:\Windows\system32>

Then again, I have no problem using DISM to remove packages and to integrate hotfixes, thus DISM itself should not be corrupt.

Another option is to use Mr Jinje's DISM Tool™ to integrate drivers. I can only use it to integrate signed drivers. Hence, is there a way to modify the DISM tool so that it can integrate unsigned drivers as well?

Could be useful but Does not work if path to WIM file has spaces in it.
You need to put double-quotes around path.
