Lost E-Mail When Compacting Outlook Express Glitch Rate Topic: -----

When compacting a window came up stating Error another program was useing same system..I canceled compacting. Then I find that I had lost about 4 months of E-mail that was in my inbox.How can I recover this ?? :angry:
