Did you install to a root folder like C:\Se7en_UA? I'm lazy and this won't work from Program files or any long path with spaces.
What is your OS and x86/64?
Copy the Dvd sources, Extracted as above.
Exactly where is it not working as Chester explained above

Installed at C:\
OS is x86
Already copied and donw the work upto ,ounting the image, when i tried to mount ,none of Versions are shown

open Appswitch.dat and at very bottom [Vista_STEPS], if you have passwords remove them but paste everything under that

Hi Max

First time have used your app for seven. Doesn't appear that I can skip any steps after mounting an image, eg must first select an addon then drivers, then apps etc.
Is it @ all possible to select say only addons, drivers & hotfixes only for instance?

Like for instance if you wanted to do runoncex instead of the App installer? Hadn't built that into it yet
All the things changing from Vista was a major headache and then RTM changed things

You could just setup 1 application with App Installer cause right now if you want to run things in Audituser pass after you close the Applications is when it writes all the stuff to set it up for when it gets to xml

Then you can just edit the cmd files and remove the App Installer. It will allow that later on at Edit Cmd files

I can see this is a good app, but cannot get past the addon or driver integration step, finding the app wants to unmount & commit the image by itself.
Also is it normal to have to restart the app @ each stage?

you do have a folder called APPS on the root of any drive Windows will see it?
Add anything simple to a sub folder there like my Reg program Jump2reg with folder name of Jump2reg

Its simple cause its an inno setup installer
Links in my Sig

This thing is dependent on seeing the APPS folder to advance

I can see now this may be confusing and need to correct somehow

This is a pic of what I'm saying about APPS

If you ever figure out what we're doing here I doubt you will use anything else

Copies reg settings from currently installed Applications
Copies Files from currently installed Applications
Copies entire directories from currently installed Applications

Or uses whats stored in your APPS folder if not installed at the time

All good now Max, just have some problems with the driver integration, I backed up all my running Vista/Wind seven x 86 drivers but DISM seems to reject them. Will interrogate the log.

all my Vista 64 drivers worked when I went to Seven minus 1
Then after updating all I grabbed them with Driver Magician and all work now

should be a log file in Se7en_UA\Logs after you Pack image for drivers

I am stuck at the packing image section. I dont have any firewall or antivirus running. It keeps telling me that NOD32 or virus program may interfere try installing waik. I install waik, it does some processing for a few seconds then I get a permission denied message. I am building this on window XP. I would like to get his completed. Is there a command line I can try to get the image packed ? Then iso created ? Thanks for the assistance.

OS you on like XP?
64 bit or x86?
when it stops you must copy the error message and number

That msg basically pops up when it won't mount cause it looks for the zMountDir & "\Windows\explorer.exe"
The antivirus thing is not allways the case
I do this
Pause to see if ERROR. Copy Error and let me know

Here you go. After a reboot I get the attached errors in the order of error 1 then click <ok> and try again. Then I get the second error message which is an error 70 permission denied. Thanks for the assistance.

Viper999
Shutdown program and delete the zMountDir and look in uadvd\sources and delete the msdtc.cmd
Restart will recreate the mount and then try again

when it pause's was there any error in the cmd window? It should pause in cmd before you get what you're showing in pics
