Se7en_UA - RunOnceEx Tester still working with Win 11 2022

Recommended Posts

@maxXPsoft

I found if during the addons if I copy an old $OEM$ file

from a previous run of se7en the cmd files have all my edits in them.

Which is good

But when I did that the add applications button was already checked so I went to the next step.

Anyway the second time I clicked add applications and did a load all so my apps were copied.

When I did a pack image I recieved arror complaining about non .msu files in the Hfixes directory.

I checked and all those files were in both the hfixes and ...\$OEM$\$1\install directories.

The errors didn't cause any problems during installation in vmware.

Yes the two files are created: zFEATURES.TXT and zPackagelist.txt!

Feature Name : OEMHelpCustomization
State : Disabled

Nom de la fonctionnalit‚ : OEMHelpCustomization
tat : D‚sactiv‚

Oops, language got us. Let me think on that one. I'm sure the component name will be same regardless OEMHelpCustomization

Perhaps a list depending on version like Ultimate, Premium and such instead of exporting that list.

That is the downside to this. I do things in order looking for certain things to exist and then it moves on depending on that. If you go from start to finish most won't encounter much problems. Really don't know how to get around that cause so many will do different things and it is hard to second guess.

Sort of like using Vlite and then use RT7, he don't know what the other app done and he looks for certain things according to what his process is to advance. I'm in the same situation.

If something need's to be added then I'll certainly add it perhaps after a discussion on the merits. If I can make this better and you see the way I certainly will listen

I wasn't even sure if thats what you had in mind.

The (can't call them bugs)features are easy to get around.

Just have to remember to go through all the steps

even if there already checked. Don't know if it would work

but couldn't I remove everything from the saved $oem$ directory

except for the cmd files and anything that wasn't placed there by se7en

EDIT: found that if I already have a setupcomplete.cmd in my $OEM$ folder

to be copied, the non msu files remain in the HFixes directory and the lines

that Se7en normally had to setupcomplete.cmd aren't.

IF I'm the only one that sees a use for this thats ok

because it's easy to get get arround the errors caused by this.

Thats what I do is remember and make sure I do all steps. Some OEM do have setupcomplete in them.

Alienware uses setupcomplete.cmd. Fujitsu uses setupcomplete.cmd. Lenovo_Home_Basic uses setupcomplete.cmd

I need to address that for an existing.

Hello Max

I have selected the CA for uninstall this package inside the section "Features and Packages".

But it's write: "installation en attente" = "Install Pending"

Here it is.

Hello Max

I've tried an other time to deleete a pack (CA) and I get an error.

Error 87:

This option need /PackagePath or /PackageName to be executed

It's needed to use one of these command option

And the file after 'Pack Image' (zPackagelist.txt) is the same I've send before.

Perhaps you need the cleanup right click delete mountdir.

I change 1 thing ft02=tat : with space in it, the other buttons should not appear unless something there

Yes your packagelist was identical except now showing the Windows Updates you injected

Oh sorry Max!

I've made a mistake inside this line in French.ini!

Here is the new French ini fixed:

My link

I give you the new zPackagelist.txt and all is fine and CA is deleeted!

But the letter: É is missing inside the window "Features Packages and Tweaks". The correct word is: État !

Internet Backgammon is not being disabled.

I've tried unchecking just internet games, then nun of the internet

games get disabled. When I uncheck the three internet games Bacgammon

doest get disabled. This is whats in the zFEATURES.TXT file after

running se7en_ua. If you need to see the entire file let me know.

Feature Name : Internet Games

State : Enable Pending

Feature Name : Internet Checkers

State : Disable Pending

Feature Name : Internet Backgammon

State : Enable Pending

Feature Name : Internet Spades

State : Disable Pending

Hello Max

Just to tell I've the same problem than jbm with disabling Features, like games, for Windows 7 x86.

I know you are doing a new time! Thanks
