This Windows XP Pro Corp SP3 install CD with SATA & Compaq/HP drivers was created on (new) taprisot on 2009/10/20 by dosadi using NLite 4.5.9.
created a new dir C:\dosadiXP.133
copied CDKEY.TXT and several directories of DLLs, fonts, themes, and config stuff into dosadiXP.133 , none of which is contained on the source CD or resembles any of the "official" directories. (shoudln't interfere)
started NLite 1.4.9 and selected CD-Rom W: as source. chose C:\dosadiXP.133 as destination, and let it copy source.
did not import presets, and left load "last session" unchecked
selected All tasks to be undertaken
selected Service Pack 3 source file C:\WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe and let it do its thang
recieved Service Pack 3 Setup msg Integrated install has completed successfully.
did not add any Hotfixes, Add-ons, or Update Packs.
inserted a directory of drivers from C:\DRIVERS

For SP32478 I selected Textmode driver rather than Regular PNP driver.
I selected all of the following:
Intel® 6300ESB SATA RAID controller
Intel® 82801ER SATA RAID controller (Desktop ICH5R)
Intel® 82801FBM SATA AHCI controller (Mobile ICH6M)
Intel® 82801FR SATA AHCI RAID controller (Desktop ICH6R)
Intel® 82801FR SATA RAID controller (Desktop ICH6R)
Intel® 82801GBM SATA AHCI controller (Mobile ICH7M)
Intel® 82801GR/GH SATA AHCI controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH)
Intel® 82801GR/GH SATA RAID controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH)
Compatibility, selected all except Fast User Switching, IIS, Media Center, Tablet PC, & Server Core.
checked the size in dosadiXP.133, which was 705MB (max 700). I decided to delete 6MB of my extra stuff rather than try to slim down the XP install files.
In Unattended, General tab, I entered my CD key, turned off Hibernate & turned off System Restore Svc
Regional tab, set time zone to Eastern. Kept US language settings.
Set Automatic Updates to Notify before download, and Elevated Non-Admins.
Set IIS to Don't Install That Gaping Security Risk On My PC Puhleeze
General Options, Setup look, Black bkg
Patches, set TCP/IP unfinished simul connects to 100.

[Hotfixes]
I'm going to have to run NLite again and remove components, and maybe delete some things by hand if I have to. The extra stuff I added at the beginning was 57MB but I'm over by 130 and I don't want to delete my xtra stuff if I can help it.
Hanging it up for the time being, maybe for the night. Any suggestions appreciated.
