7Customizer - a Windows 7 Customization and Deployment tool

Recommended Posts

I downloaded the RAR file again. Unzipped it to it's own folder. Double clicked on the 7Customizer application file. It does nothing and immediately brings up the "windows is searching for a solution to your problem" dialog box.

I'm an administrator on my PC and I also tried running as administrator...no luck.

I recently rebuilt my machine from scratch...there's no virus on my machine. Am I right in thinking that this program isn't installed, it's just run from that application file in the RAR file?

What?

7C is a single .exe file and a work folder, nothing else, ofcourse it just run from the application in the .rar file.

Have you had any other problems with the computer?, could be defect sector on the disk or ram (just long shots).

figured it out.

I was extracting the files on my own....dragging the 5 files to a folder that I created. This time I just hit the "Extract" button and it created it's own folders...where I now see the "Work" folder. That wasn't there before...that was probably what was causing the problem. The "application" file was looking for that "work" folder...and it didn't exist.

thanks guys!

Goodevening Blue:)..

Im trying to create an iso using 7C but it keeps failing, i run 7C as admin, choose necessary exe's and dvdsource (e:\eng), choose ultimate 32bit, move to unattended tab. fill out everything and then apply and create iso.

The window is open for a second and then it says its done, log says its done to.

Doesnt matter if the iso label is Windows 7 AIO English or just English.

you have to copy the Windows DVD to a folder on your hard drive. 7C needs to be able to write to those files, which cannot be done to a closed DVD.

I had the same problem last night before I realized I needed to copy the DVD to my hard drive.
