7Customizer - a Windows 7 Customization and Deployment tool

Recommended Posts

Hey again:)

A kinda "scary update"

I started 7C on my computer (problems on my laptop), picked taiwanese dvd, ultimate 32bit but just decided to create the iso and guess what; it works fine, its creating the iso as im writing this.

that "-yo\work" thing as mentioned above is here aswell obviously but im not having any problems now..

Update again at 5.04 PM

Ok, working on the laptop, not sure why but i changed isoname and location to another partition on my laptop and then it worked.. really weird imo!

Not sure if it was beacuse i changed the label or the path but ive tried change the isolabel before and that didnt work.. well:)

Hmmmm, I have faced a similar situation. I tried to save the iso to a network drive and it did not work. When I tried to save it to the C drive it worked fine.

Anyways thanks for your feedback and help.

Good:)

yet another confirmation it works on english version of windows 7, we need in other languages!

English

Swedish

Taiwanese

has been tested by me and confirmed working, now the rest of the languages:P

A guy few pages back had problem with a msu file, russian windows 7.

If you can wait, i can test and hopefully confirm, spanish, korean and french.

Edit: Ill test some other language tomorrow:)

And regarding the name, try switch place on 7Lite to Lite7, sounds better imo:)

Hmmmm, I recommend testing the customized ISO in a virtual machine instead of wasting DVDs.

Nice work man. Thanks for the help.

There is another guy who also faced such a problem. I updated the Known bugs section in the first post with this problem. Anyways, you could test it. It will really help. Thanks.

This name was in my mind when I started 7Customizer but I decided to try a new name. I mentioned this name because people were expecting that the successor to vlite will be 7lite. One thing to confirm is that "7Customizer" is the name of this software and I will not change it.

thanks for your feedback and help.

i agree, keep the name the same. nuhi made vlite and nlite, you naming it along those lines would make some think you are nuhi disguised as somebody else. this is your project, nuhi chose to retire and fade away.

I think it's a good time to start Your own board instead of keeping everything here.

You did a great job, but i'm still waiting for components removal.

Yea, if he can do that, why not:)

7Customizer board!, Either here on msfn or your own;).

Anyways, im installing Korean version now and its almost done, no problem or whatso ever.

Edit: Korean version installed and working perfect.

Confirmed:

English

Swedish

Korean

Polish

German(?)

Spanish

Taiwanese

Japanese

I got french left :P

Edit, almost forgot taiwanese, would be nice if we could test 7c with other languages, japanese and chinese for example!

I can get my hands on the chinese version again and try:)

Edit 2:38AM 9/2: Japanese added:)

i am wondering with the coming of a service pack for windows 7 if this will integrate that as well if MS allows it? doesn't matter to me though as i have technet subscription :thumbup

Well, we (and by that i mean Blue4603:p) want 7C to be able to integrate SP and still have component removal, not like vLite beacuse it ruined installation of SP2 if you removed components from vista dvd.

I would like to say ofcourse 7C will support that hehe.

Edit: tested spanish windows 7 now and its working:)
