I was wondering can the dat files be copied and renamed?

Let me explain. I currently have 3 choices under my xp pro boot menu
1. Install Normal
2. Unattended install for one model
3. Unattended install for another model

1. chains /pro1.dat
2. chains /pro2.dat
3. chains /pro3.dat

Is there a way to get 4 or more choices?

oh yes, surely.

just continue:

4. clean HD and do Unattended install

4. chains /pro4.dat

that's all.
name the option and the proX.dat to anything you want.
Of course, you'd know to do the appropriate hex-editing etc. for the pro4.dat (or whatever) and setupldr.bin.

In fact, I've successfully made a 9-in-1 XP cd.
Enjoy.

The extension doesn't matter, you don't even need a file extension, it just has to be uncompressed.
