Okay. I would like to know why do we need .NET 4? I didn't even know it existed... Is it really needed for something specific?

I'am programming this tool in C#4 and .Net4 because i like really like some of the new Features(Parallel Computing....) and Impovements.

This utility is wonderful.

however, a little improvement would be better

according to my test, winsxs folder is not cleaned at the same time

i removed printer driver , tv tuner driver and the gadget platform

but to my surprise ,these stuffs are still in the winsxs folder , maybe its for compatibility reasons. but i would really like to remove them all ~

a little discription of the package would be good, i dont no why removing media player also removes wmp.

Some Packages have Child Packages if you remove the Parent all the children will be Removed. I have to fix the Parent<->Child detection Code.

The dism.exe keeps all the Files in WinSxS and many Registry entries but it will be posible to remove them using Win Integrator in the Feature.
This needs alot of work and testing or it will break Update or ServicePack Installation like vLite did.

How i can translate this program? I´ve looked into program folder and i think i can translate WinIntegrator.resources.dll and make new folder cs-CZ. I tried open file with Restorator 2007 and see here is nothing to translate...

I started the Project in May 2009 and i never counted hours.
I think it's a better waste of time as playing COD, WOW or.........

Could you make a scheme or picture to ilustrate the parent - child relation between the packages we can select now?
Program is just great! Very clean removal!

after i marked some packege to remove - i got this error while your program did the process. - i choosed build new image -

but after declick the error message the process could finished (also creating iso) and it tryed to install, but while installing (it hang) by copying files ->0% after 30minutes .

i tryed with win7-x64-oem-november integrated ->maybe problem with the already integrated updates and Winintegrator - but this iso is ok-i installed and win7 is fine - but not slim

Seem now the things are moving! I had a perfectly working 1.0.2.1, now let's see how does the new version fares!
