I need to replace my video card. I have a SAPPHIRE RADEON 9000 ATLANTIS PRO with 128MB. I built this system when hardware makers were just getting around to having compatibility with Windows XP. My card came with win 2000 drivers. I had no problems untill I updated my drivers for XP. Now when playing a game system shuts down giving me mess. relating to video card.I am going to build a system for my son and use this card in his. He wants Win 2000 so the card will be fine for his system. I want a card that is clearly Win XP compatible, have VIVO, I work on muti media presentation, and play games like Halo. I get a headace looking at the comparisons on sites. I have economic issues so I would like to spend as little as possible. Here is my system. I have all updated patches and drivers.

Board: ASUSTeK A7S333
AMD Athlon XP 2000
512 MB Memory
Windows XP Pro

As far as I know ever graphics card thats made now is Xp compatable. You say you want presentations, you can get by with a 9200 card, Halo is on the other end, you'll want a 9600 or better to play it right.

I think you can get by with a 5600 card...heres a link to a cheaper 1 with VIVO and it will play halo.

also if your willing to spend a lil bit more this will be a better choice...
