I am in need of some assistance, I have had a site for a while now, and I just cant get any traffic to the site. I have tried lots of ways, google advertising, Article submitting, Directory submitting, nothing has worked. So last place I come is here. Would anyone have any ideas on how to get traffic? All help is appreciated.

Yeah, I have lots of tutorials and other info, there are just over 1300 posts. All posts are made by around 23 members, which is pretty sad.

msfn is crawled well, why not throw it in your signature or something.

Unless that or your site is frowned upon, I dont see why offering it up for evaluation would be horrible, maybe im not schooled on proper netiquette.

I just dont know how much you will gather other than very generic answers without at least some screen shots.

I think forums attract very focused communities or none at all. Lacking a field of fire is detrimental, imho.

you want backlinks.. get your site linked on many other sites and it will get crawled.

Hit up http://forums.digitalpoint.com/

That is the forum you want to be asking this question on. Infact.. its already been answered on there many times. There are people offering in some cases free links on their front page in exchange for links on your page. Because your site really doesnt have any real content to offer, you want backlinks.. Then, once more people start going to it and writing stuff up you will have more content to be indexed.

What kind of advertising have you done?

Mostly google adwords, the only thing it really did was take money out of my pocket.
