I am a new member to this forum. I am having some issues with my HP DV 9700t CTO laptop. I received Recovery disks from HP. My laptop came with windows vista home premium 32bit. My issue is when I try to recover my laptop using recovery disks, it takes the whole night to recover and puts a lot of junk on my laptop, but the main issue is it creates the a very small partition to install Vista and before even completing the recovery process the C:\ drive gets full and recovery fails. So I would like to extract only Vista form recovery disk and install it clean on my laptop. I have tried several options using imagex etc, I can see the contents of the recovery disk after mounting them. I also found the BaseOS.WIM. I am not really sure how I can use BaseOS.WIM to create a bootable Vista CD. Can anyone please help me out here since I have exhausted all resources to find a solution.

Thank you in advance.
