Here you go...

<item name='Microsoft Office 2003'>
<file name='Installing Office 2003...' command='execute' program='%SOURCEPATH%\PostInstall\Office2003\setup.exe' arguments='TRANSFORMS=%SOURCEPATH%\PostInstall\office2003\Unattended.MST /qb-'></file></item>

As for WMP9 in other languages i install them at the second run of IXInstall on first user logon then there is no warning anymore

OK I've finally gotten XP install to work, but now my drivers.exe file that contains a sfx of all my system drivers aren't being called in winnt.sif, below is an excerpt, any ideas?

Hi!

Im using XPInstall on three points of my unattended: 1švia cmdlines 2švia winnt.sif 3šUsing a cmd on start

Im having problems with mu 3rd xml, how should i write the command to the .cmd file? Right now im using:

%systemdrive%\postinstall\xpinstall.exe <%systemdrive%\postinstall\fase3.xml

Ive tried with quotes and using start, but it starts with the default XPInstall.xml instead of fase3.xml... so what am i doing wrong?

Plz help :S

I may be missing something not sure where these two progs reside or where I can obtain them from HMTCDWizard_enu.exe & HU1002_PRO.EXE? Have not noticed these in other unattended hotfix & application directories?

Thanks

hmm...can't seem to use a custom font.
XPInstall Likes comic sans, but not the one i'm trying to use.

What fonts are supported? Any that are registered?

EDIT:: Fixed it. I put Medium in there as i thought it was part of the name, but when i took it out, it worked. :)

Well well well... another day, another 42 releases of XPinstall on the cards. Hmmm. :)

I'll put single file operations in now, and disable the gui-install merging ability (for now) - the proper installer uses weird image resizing routines...

As much is this would be a good idea, I'd rather keep all posts in the one thread... makes it easier for me to check things.

Sorry for the gratuitous use of blaring text :)

The good thing is this software has been upgraded. The bad thing is  I still can't use Chinese .  :D

PS: I think it is a bug of xpinstall.exe. Perhaps because C ++ that you use is the English edition. Can you share the code to everybody? Maybe we can find out the reason and fix it.

sorry for my poor english. :)

I'll be looking into this as soon as I get the single file operations done. Can I get you to attach some sample XML's (more than one) for me to test with?

Alanoll, see the most recent screenshot I posted - it's of the current dev version that reads from winntbbu.dll, so you don't need to add images. (In theory.)

Normal mode stays, it's selectable in the XML. (Don't worry :))

I continue my problem here (as Wraith ask me to do so). Everything is on the screenshot, as you can see im running a batch with the <%systemdrive%... atribute and i get a '0' just before it.

Am I doing something wrong?

It is using the default xml located in the same directory, it is the one you can se working (or trying to work, becouse the CD is not inserted :))

Default xml uses the CDROM but, now im triyng to use "fase3.xml" file. In the pic it is using the default one becouse the '0' prevents it to read correctly the attribute.

fase3.xml doesnt use the CDROM at all

In the attached file you can see my xmls, xpinstall.xml works flawlessly but i dont know about fase3.xml i cant try it

In the screenshot (Notepad) you can see the Fase3.cmd im using and how it "works". This is the line:

%systemdrive%\PostInstall\XPInstall <%SYSTEMDRIVE%\PostInstall\Fase3.xml

The problem is the '0' that appears before the <D:\PostInstall\fase3.xml That prevents the program of using the fase3.xml file and it uses the xpinstall.xml

I put the fase3.cmd on the Start from the Start Menu. I have to use it due to some drivers and the QL icons

 Thanks, I upload 3 xmls for 3.0

xpinstall.xml was being used by me.
Those two test using for you, one is encoding=GB2312 (simplified Chinese), another encoding=big5(traditional Chinese)
