Automatic Windows Update or Automatic LiveUpdate included with Symantec products will reduce bandwidth if they are downloading updates in the background.
For auto Windows Update look for a mini Windows Update icon on the system tray. Symantec LiveUpdate also appears in the system tray as a little computer with animated signals coming out of the top.

This has nothing to do with an Unattended installation of Windows.

Moved to Networks, Internet and Security Forum

Maybe a another programn is tying up ur bandwidth... I came across one machine where Ultra VNC was tying up that person's bandwidth, I dunno how because it was not connected. But some programs will do that. SO u might wanna investigate this... Rule out the programs...Maybe one of them is doing it.

 lol does he still have the problem its been like 2-3 months :)
come to think about it now, it could be anything, he wasn't specific about the internet connection
and I think, since he posted 1 message, doesn't visit the forum anymore... so I'd say save your breath for other things :D

(don't get me wrong, i just wanted to point out that he doesn't visit anymore..)
