keo01
Hello, I have a segate 7200.11 500gb disk, with SD15 firmware, and I recovered it from bricking two times in a few months with the gide posted in this forum.I read many post, but I don't know what to do.¿Is safe to update to SD1A? ¿there are others problems with this firmware? Or Should I stay with SD15, so we know how to fix it?thanks.
Zenskas
I have a 500GB drive with the SD1A firmware and it has worked flawless in an external enclosure for several months now. I think it is plenty safe to do the update so long as you follow the instructions on the Seagate site.
