Hey guys, just got one of the mice mentioned.
Here is my inital view, a piece of s**t.
But after a few mins of tinkering got it to work better than most wired mice.
Here is a small guide.
1. Symptom: Cursor Jumpy
cure: open the receiver; make sure it is not plugged into the computer
position it so that the little green light (led) is pointed towards you.
here is what you see
you see a square thing with some round things next to it, cant miss this, it is the only square thing, on the right side of the square thing is another smaller square object, this is called the frequency modulator, it has a round dial like object at the top. This controls the frequnency of the mouse. Now if you are having problems such as a jumpy mouse you will need to modify this.
INSTRUCTIONS TO CHANGE FREQUENCY
get a small flathead screwdriver,
insert it into the small space in the dial
and turn clockwise, which means to the right, which in laymans terms is ---->, the amount needed to turn is not much, just a few millimeters.
If you find it hard to move the dial, DO NOT FORCE IT
Plug it into the USB or PS/2 port, keep the cover off and test the mouse, if there is no change, disconnect and turn dial again, in millimeters. Repeat until desired results. Close the base
If this does not work, try moving some items around, such as any cordless phones, cell phones and other such things.
Let me know if this has helped you.

Jumpy cursor happens when the frequecy is out id sync, you move your mouse and the cursor does not follow it in the path it is moving, instead it jumps to points along the path already moved, its flow of movement is jumpy.
