Hi Guys / Girls, after vlited win7 64, at the start of the install, it complains of missing cd/dvd drivers..

Can somebody tell me what not to remove :unsure:

also im trying to install onto a 4gb ssd is there a setting somewhere in vlite to remove the minimum hard drive requirement of windows 7 ?

Please remember that when vLite was last developed and released Win 7 was still in the EARLY BETA process.

vLite barely works on Win7 and you are bound to get many errors using vLite alone.

However, there are a couple of threads on extreme slimming of Win7 in this same forum section....

u could do 1giga for Win7 32bit maybe less
u need to remove the printers drivers with win intergrator
remove winsxs using vlite and remove manually pending.xml from winsxs dir
and remove more files using dead0's remove bat file

i think with dead0 will done with it its will be even 700mb
