bookie32 Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) Hi guys and girls I am going quitely...sorry....very loudly insane here!I installed windows 7 on C: drive and then Ubuntu. I let Ubuntu install grub to mbr and was going to live with that---but my customer would like to see windows controlling boot order....simple I said ....done it least a hundred times before.......nada!!I booted from windows 7 and then chose command prompt for my repair of mbr.I then ran the following code which I have seen on a hundred theads:X:\Sources bootsext.exe /fixmbrI get information thrown at me about different usage of bootect.exe but no repair of mbr?Does anyone have any idea why?
