I have a hp m7500 series computer and the motherboard needs replaced. I ordered another motherboard for it and a new hard drive. I wanted to know is when I get the new motherboard and hard drive and install them, can I use my set of recovery cd's (windows xp media center edition 2005) will I be able just to use those disks to get it up and running?

Sure.
There may be a couple of little tweaks needed, but if motherboard is the same model you shouldn't have any problem.
You'll probably need to activate the new install, though.
