Hi all, I'm having an issue with outlook 2007. Whenever I close outlook 2007 it makes that X icon in the taskbar. I started doing some trouble shooting removing every patch till it stopped, well, I ended up having to uninstall Office 2007 completely and reinstalling it. Then I installed SP2, and only SP2. well turns out SP2 was the problem.
I took an extra PC reimaged it to XP alone no extra apps then installed Office 07 and installed SP2 and it kept happening. I tried running it in safe mode by going into
Start > Run > Outlook /safe
Problem still occured. There are no addons either just outlook at fresh install with SP2. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

The Outlook shutdown behavior was changed with Office 2007 SP2
