Redownload of emails!

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003 to download emails from a POP3 server.

A funny thing happens every time I first download emails on startup of the laptop. If say there are 100 emails to be downloaded, outlook downloads 99 of these emails. On the last email, it shows that its taking time to download. Then suddenly, the email downloading gets cancelled. Then, whenever I click on downloading emails, the first 99 also get downloaded!

This happens invariably, unless I restart my laptop.

Its a big problem when I download emails on a Monday, there may 100s of emails

I have searched online, support and these forums. I have come across problems of duplicate emails. But this is not the same problem (at least as it seems to me).

If anyone else has faced a similar problem, or can suggest a solution, it would be great!

I would flush your email account and set it up again with all default settings.

failing that you might want to temporarily setup your email in another email client to see if you have the same result.

I would try to determine if the problem is the email client, the profile, or the POP3 provider (in order of liklyhood)
