I need a link to the kb976002 Browser Ballot update for Windows 7 x64, if somebody in the UK with Windows 7 x64 got it via Microsoft Update then would it be possible for you to check your %WinDir%\WindowsUpdate.log for a link?

XP x86/x64 Multilang: http://download.wind...8830204fe85.exe

Win7 x86 Multilang: http://download.wind...367b0a83ff5.msu

ALL In One (XP, Server2k3, Vista, 7 x86/x64): http://www.mediafire.com/?m22jmqjhjen

BTW I got the x86 updates for XP and Windows 7 x86 by temporarily using a proxy in the UK, if somebody wants to give that a try I will also be grateful...here is the proxy I used in IE8 -> Internet Options -> Connections (tab) -> LAN settings (then check Microsoft Update) see if kb976002 shows up

May work, but maybe not in VPC, since it sync's to the Host by default/design to prevent "pirating" (AFAIK, VPC does it, not the Time Sync service). Worth a shot...

There was a webpage with a reg entry that had something to do with "Browser Choice Display Implementation Note for System Administrators" but the page is dead, MS took it down IDK why

in VirtualBox you can disable host sync., but the time is irrelevant for the update. The only important thing is the location, which must be inside a country of the EU and you have to set up the IE as your default browser.
