I've made an MDI application that is a multiple window chat client. My problem is when I load the settings from the registry it sets this up in the forms but doesn't release them properly from memory. One such instance that caught my attention was when the chat channel list had duplicates on the first load. Since I've had these errors I've pondered loading from an XML file, or other such method.
