Hai everybody! I am new to the forums so I ll try to make it quick.

I am having problems with opening vsd extension files with VisioViewer2007 previously packed with WinInstall LE.

When I am making "After" Snapshot I am receiving errors like ones below at the very end:

Warning: type library file ProgramFilesFolder\MICROS~2\Office12\VVIEWER.DLL for TypeLib {BA35B84E-A623-471B-8B09-6D72DD072F25} was not found in the package; this may result in validation warnings.

Warning: program file ProgramFilesFolder\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe for verb "open" (extension vtx) was not found in the package; this may result in validation warnings.

Warning: path @LocalAppData\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\Last Active\{D89E991A-332F-11DF-ABFB-$NetAddr$}.dat contains a variable which cannot be properly converted - consider moving this path to a profile folder.

After installing that msi package my vsd files can not open automatically (i have to open IE and double click vsd file) or they don't open at all (window pops up in which I have to choose a program to open it with)

I don't know what to do.. I spent few days trying to solve this problem by myself but I failed miserably. So if anyone on this forum knows how to help me and would like to spend his time for me I would appreciate it very very much.

Oh yea... I forgot to mention that I want vsd files to open automatically by double klicking vsd file this is my goal in that thread.

Why are you using WinInstall LE or repacking in the first place?

You can create an administrative install point by running:
visioviewer.exe /extract:C:\temp

I am trying to distribute VisioViewer 2007 to other computers in my company and I've been advised to use WinInstall LE to send fully updated and working program.
