titishor
in your router you should have some options that looks like this :Telnet Telnet traffic is blocked from the WANFTP FTP traffic is blocked from the WANTFTP TFTP traffic is blocked from the WANWeb Web traffic is blocked from the WANSNMP SNMP traffic is blocked from the WANPing Ping traffic is blocked from the WANUNCHECK them all, then save the config to your router, and then restart it. (Usually , you have a reboot command in the routers options.)(if you don't have such thing, then press the power button from your router, wait a few second, and power it on again.) VideoRipper
...traffic is blocked from the WANThat wouldn't help him a bit, since he's trying to ping between two computersinside the LAN The only reason I can think of, is that the notebook NIC isn't configured (orable) to reply to ICMP-requests Greetz,Peter. Phenomic
WinXP firewall could be blocking, or some routers change IPs and you're pinging the wrong IP.
