I need to have a friend be able to connect to my server while Im gone to maintian it. Im behind a router and not sure why its not working right.

I can connect VIA remote connection but Im behind my router. Now he will be at his home meaning he wil need to get to my server. On my main PC i have DMZ host enabled and on my server I have port 21 forwarded.

Now do i need to change anything to allow him to connect. We have tried and its saying wrong password or user but hes using the same password and user as I use all the time. SHould I change that DMZ to my server or what? This is very important as I will be gone for weeks. Please assist in any way.

I don't know for sure cause I never tried it that way. Your setup is more sophisticated than mine. I dial into my server using WS FTP 95 PRO. Others also use my user name and password or I change it online through my ISP. I did have a problem with a firewall enabled at one time. Disabled the firewall temporarily to update the site and it worked.
