Hello. I made some small modifications to the script.

Is there any problem in publishing?

Regards

I would suggest that you talk with Parseus if these changes are worth to put them into his original 2K-extension.

I think it's better that we have just one 2K-extension here. Avoiding confusion (deciding which 2K-extension to use) for others...

The 24.0.2195.0 May 2010 Roots Cerificates is not for Windows2000. After installing it MU/WU asks for the version in the extension. So that shouldn't be changed. Everything else looks good.

Parseus, will you be making these changes to your extension? Just wondering?

Sure, I think I'll release it on Saturday on Sunday. I didn't have much free time before.

AKuHAK has updated the file-checker for W2K, based on bristols list. The last modification was made on 17.May.2011 (read also some posts before).

Here new filechecker for win2k

http://www.multiupload.com/AZCG3W2PXP

...

Probably someone can update this W2K-list of the file-checker to the current state of bristols list... (AKuHAK? ;) )

This might help:

Goes back as far as February.

I am working on it - unfortunately there is so many optional updates each of them i have to download from MS. Bristols update his list much faster then i can download updates and check them.

I uploaded a package which contains almost all HBRs from bristols' page. This is not a Rollup, just an archive with updates.

Win2k-HBR-20110613.7z (127 hotfixes)

I hope you can save time by downloading this. Some filenames may be different (Windows2000-KBXXXXXX instead of QXXXXXX but you should just look at the KB number).

Parseus,

Thank you very much for all your time in resurrecting HFSLIPFC-2K. It is a great tool to have.

I did find a couple problems I wanted to make you aware of:

1. I am receiving the error "missing (S): HFSVCPACK_SW1\Windows2000-KB958470-x86-ENU.EXE (RDC 5.1)" even though I have Windows2000-XP-2003-MSRDP52-x86-ENU.exe in HFSVCPACK_SW1 which replaces it.

2. usp10.dl_ is not removed from REPLACE\I386\ folder even though you have this line included "R|REPLACE/I386\usp10.dl_|Usp10.dll from KB2288621 for Microsoft Office 2007 SP2, replaced by unofficial KBz2288621 update" in HFSLIPFC-2K.
