72 Hour limit?

I find it interesting that I've never gotten the "72 hour" limit in Win PE 2.1, and once had one on for 3 weeks. PE 3.0 no such luck however, it always reboots. I'm not sure how I got PE 2.1 to ignore the time limit!

AFAIK PE 2.x had the 72 limits too:

No more progresses that I know of.

The good ol' methods that work with 1.x's 24h limit has been "passing by" reported as not working, but there are no definitive reports ....

And I doubt we are allowed discussing much on this topic.:ph34r:

Yeah, I think my PE 2.1 has no time limit because of how I made it. I originally had a Win PE 2.0 and then did a "servicing upgrade" to v2.1 on it. I do not remember exactly how I did it (this was in Vista SP1 RTM) so I couldn't tell you anyways. Too long ago! Anyways, so yeah my WinPE 2.1 is a WinPE 2.0 that was updated incorrectly offline instead of doing the right thing of rebuilding the WIMs altogether.

I think the behaviour can be discussed but no methods of changing it is allowed.
