- Call of Duty Black Ops WILL have dedicated servers. 1
- The game will not have a Campaign Co-op but instead a dedicated co-op mode (most likely similar to Spec Ops).2
- At least two characters during the Cold War will be in the main campaign, one from the American viewpoint, the other will be the Russian viewpoint. 3
- The SR-71 will REPLACE the AC-130 for attacks from above. No word on if it will be in multiplayer. 3
- The story will be more emotional with the animations for the game created by the same system which was used for the movie Avatar. 3
- Vietnam, Cuba, the Arctic, and Russia have been confirmed as locations in the game. 4
- Modern Warfare 2 perk, Commando, will not return. The nuke is also not to return. 5
- It has been confirmed to be released on the following platforms; PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii. 6
- A crossbow will be available ingame. 7
- DLC is to be in the works, however it will NOT be made by Treyarch but instead Raven Software, makers of Singularity. 8
- Treyarch is working only on the game and nothing else currently, unlike past practice. However, it has different teams, each working on its game mode. 9
- In the campaign, your player will have a voice unlike other CoD games. 10
- Vehicles will be back in multiplayer, but "not the way you remembered them in WaW". 10
- A beta is being considered being on released however there is no word on if it will be multiplayer or campaign\ coop. 10
- A new "Create-A-Class 2.0" will be included with improved character customization. 10
- Matchmaking will be improved on consoles. 10
- Multiplayer development began before single player, so in some cases, single player maps are based off multiplayer maps. 10
- Stealth will be a major part of the game. 10
- Call of Duty Black Ops will continue the MW2 tradition of DLC coming on the 360 first. 11
- Resnov from Call of Duty World at War will return. 12
