Today i get a new PC with GIGABYTE EP43T-S3L (ICH10) + 500G SATA-2 HD.

I tried to boot it with a FLOPPY DRIVEs I downloaded FROM BlackWingCat's site to install the HFSLIPED windows 2000 os.

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=zh-CN&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.livedoor.jp%2Fblackwingcat%2Farchives%2F813816.html

In IDE complicably MODE i could load the driver in floppy with F6 and got the fail message "Can not access bootable media ...",then failed in the Blue Screen.

In AHCI MODE i could load the driver in floppy with F6 and got the fail message "Bad Pool Call",then failed in the Blue Screen again.

And I have tried to integrated the driver (iastor.sys) with the FDV'S guide , but I get the same result above.

Any cludes I can take?

2. Win2K any hardware issues yet?

3.Some about the ide drivers with diffent co. may conflit in the os installation and make the bsod.->solution:All use the SATA CD/DVD-ROM to install the os.

The attachment is the files changed in the driver integrated before & after.

Maybe it would help sb. to integrated the driver into the os_install CD directly , and not to use the nlite.

I have tried to integrated this SATA driver with the FDV'S site guide directly, but i got the failed result.
