WPF on Windows 2000

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I have developed a WPF application and am now looking to provide a windows 2000 install package.

Now obviously the .net framework from microsoft doesn't support Windows 2000, but everything I have been reading up to this point indicates there is no reason for this other than MSoft doesn't want to do it.

Can someone help me out? Is there a good way to get .net framework 3.0/3.5 onto a windows 2000 machine for the purpose of running a WPF program?

Any help would be appreciated.

Next time, please use the search.

Yes, I followed that... doesn't seem to work, I am still getting PresentationFramework errors. I split out and made this topic because the specific questions are for Windows Presentation Foundation.

My apologies though, I can see your point. I will post in there from now on...
