To put the cpu in this motherboard...or not.. Rate Topic: -----

Hey everyone,

I burnt out a cpu and now there are 3 brown pin holes in the ZIF socket. Wondering if I stick a new cpu in it will it burn out? Or should i get a new mobo?

Overclocked it and it burnt out.

I would just a new motherboard rather than risk another CPU burnout.... or you could buy a cheap one off ebay, lower your clock speed and try it.

what multiplier did u use 15? 20? :D
