If I have an executable in $OEM$\$Progs, which way do I specify the path in "WINNT.SIF"...

...using the dollar sign?
[GuiRunOnce]
%systemdrive%\$Progs\executable.exe

...or with the resulting folder name?
[GuiRunOnce]
"%systemdrive%\Program Files\executable.exe"

Also, if the path is quoted, will the program execute?

Definitely not the first one, but the second one probably will work, if not can always specify program files directly.

"%ProgramFiles%\executable.exe"

For a listing of other environment variables, see table at end of page here.

As for quotes, yes they will run and in fact are required.

how do u create the $OEM$\$$\Web\Wallpaper folder?????

There is already a $OEM$ folder when you go to explore option (just before you make the iso) in nlite

do you just create a folder for Web and in that folder again for Wallpaper?

where does the $$ come in

and where exactly do i have to disble windows file protection?

MSFN has a page devoted to $OEM$ Distribution Folders, Bendfella. I have recently answered questions regarding this.

Windows File Protection is a separate matter. MSFN also has a page devoted to this as a walkthrough with nLite.
