How can I install 7-Zip in silent mode?

Use the "/S" parameter to do a silent installation and the "/D=dir" parameter to specify the "output directory". These options are case-sensitive. 7-Zip uses the NSIS installer by Nullsoft.

After you have it installed and configured, you can make an SFX archive for future installations.

Just use the files in Program Files\7-zip and Users\YourName\AppData\Local\7-zip and make a reg file with the keys HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\7-zip and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\7-zip.
