I am at a complete loss as to how I can get WinRAR to register via silent, can anyone post what needed file(s) to do so?

Install winrar, then open the winrar installer w/ winrar. You will see the contents of the winrar installer. Now go to "Show Information" (Alt+I). Click on the SFX tab and open the highlighted 'Advanced SFX Options". Inside setup, you will see that install/uninstall, location ('Program Files'), and shortcut switch cmds are already laid out. Just change in 'Modes" the option to allow silent install, no prompts. You're done.

OR....write down the already filled out switches. Extract the installer Winrar330.exe to a folder winrar330. Put you reg info--> rarreg.key in the folder. Now repack winrar330 to a rar file. Choose SFX option and put the shortcut, install/uninstall info back in the correct places.
Set in 'Modes':
Silent Mode-->Hide All. Overwrite mode --> overwrite all existing files.
There you go! A fully regged, silent winrar installer. Put a custom icon in if you like. (I keep lic. and text fields blank as well)

Using these two methods, I highly recommend taking out the Authenticity Verification option as it will fail since the installer has now been modified.

Before I forget....I have custom default settings I always keep (Archive Type RAR:Best Compression, Create Recovery Record, Test Files). Whatever yours are...just get WinRAR how you like and 'Export Settings". Include the resulting file (Settings.reg) in WinRAR to import later.

You can also run a batch cmd in place of the setup switch to do both a setup and reg your settings, or just run the reg file w/ your other reg's if doing a big batch or unattended deploy.

I just copied my regkey with a copy command and it worked just fine
