Need reg key to modify the *new* behavior of windows in windows. (ie- Seen on w2k and xp.)
Anyone ever 'page down' by clicking in the vertical scroll bar on right on a multipage document? Now, instead of one page, a single click scrolls two pages. Wondered if this two page *tweak* came from a ms update, not sure, but now have it on production w2k/xp boxes.
Another example: Bring up a web page that is more than 5 pages long. In the vertical scroll bar at right, click in open area down near bottom while page is positioned at the top, and you'll notice a single click scrolls two pages, instead of one. Anyone had this problem and fixed it? Assuming solution will work on both w2k/xp, specific post in reguards to xp.
Thanks,
jdc

Nobody? No one else noticed this? I'm puzzled on where it came from, but this is just like the office no-view scroll 'change' that came out with office 97. -An old default windows 'operation' action was changed with a 'new' version of 'something.' Good Enough, thanks for readin', off to the newsgroups.

Yeah, this was a BIG problem. Might be over now, after I posted I found many forum posts over this issue. What happened was, after a security fix from ms, it made the mouse behave this way. Their 'fix' was to be released in the next 'update' and mine shortly thereafter went away. I was suprised to see so many google results about it back at post time. Shoulda went there first. (no offense anyone, like msfn.org, just one of those things.)
