Install rebooting after installing Network Devices Rebooting.. Rate Topic: -----

I am using a legit windows xp pro with sp2 I just slip streamed. Everything goes fine until it says installin network devices, once its finished the scrreen goes to a teal color, and it reboots, and then the setup restarts.. So it never finishes. Why is it doing this? I thought I was all good, and then it reboots on me. Could it have something to do with vmware's network devices? Check out the pics below...

hmmm, im stumped now.. I setup vmware with no network devices and when it was on that step ths time around it got thru without problems.. I hope this is a vmware bug, and when i go to actually format and install i dont have this issue:(

I get the same thing using virtual pc2004.

I don't know about VirtualPC but VMware emulates an AMD PCnet NIC. I've never had a problem like this before either to tell you the truth.

I restarted from the beginning with my steamlining process.
I installed sp1 and sp2 and all my device drivers, then created ISO and installed on my virtual pc.
It all went fine, so I'm going to keep adding bits and see if I get the same thing again.
If so, I'll be able to pinpoint it and will let you know.
