Can anyone suggest a screen capture software that works well with DirectX fullscreen games?

I'm having trouble taking shots from a specific thing. Tried HyperSnap 3 (works in some cases but changes app focus which game doesn't like), HyperSnap 5 (hotkeys don't work), Taksi 0.5 (crashes), Taksi 0.7 (does nothing), FRAPS 1.9 (works but always shows framerate counter).

Have you tried just pressing the PrintScreen key, then loading up Paint and pasting in the image?

And are you sure the game doesn't have its own screenshot hotkey? Sorry that I don't have any utilities to recommend, but all the games I play I can either take my own screenshots with PrintScreen, or the game has its own screenshot functon. =/

Alt-Tab isn't possible, but even if that worked it would be very inconvenient. I haven't found any native screenshot key.

Try FRAPS again. In its configuration menu, it has a checkbox labeled: ''Include framerate on screen captures''
Are you sure that's unchecked?

It is. But that doesn't help with not showing it in the actual game... :)
